I urge you at this moment of national emergency to stay at home, protect our NHS and save lives.
Boris Johnson, Prime Minister.
COVID-19 has brought disruption to almost every business in these unprecedented times. Businesses across the country are now adapting and gearing up to be able to work from home, and we’re no different. After watching the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s statement last night, we’ve immediately switched to working from home and are now running our meetings online. Whilst in many ways this will feel like business as usual to us, for many this is a difficult time. Our advice is to stay calm, and keep an open mind as we step forward into this ‘new normal’ for the forceable future and do your best to adapt no matter how difficult it may seem right now.
In some ways, this is a great social experiment and a real test of what technology and collaborative working environments has to offer business moving forwards. It’s time to embrace technology and do things slightly differently. We are sure out of this there will be some productivity improvements and learnings that come out of this awful time.
We’re currently helping our clients get setup to work from home via our Office 365 service and website development services, enabling businesses to sell online through our ecommerce platform. We’ve also been running free training sessions on how to use Zoom. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom then feel free to download our free Zoom guide which includes some helpful tips and tricks in getting used to using the platform. If you’re stuck, you can book a Zoom call with us on our contact page, and we’ll see you there.
We hope you are all staying safe following the guidance from the Government to stop the spread of COVID-19. We will get through this, and we’ll get through it faster if we work together to stop the spread.
This time will test all of us in different ways, but keep a positive mindset and know that to move forwards through this, we’re all just having to take a little step backwards first, together.
